Just a few hours ago, Filmfare exclusively told you that Padmaavat director Sanjay Leela Bhansali has personally requested Akshay Kumar to push the release date of his next - PadMan. Akshay’s film stars Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte in the lead roles and now has a new release date. Due to all the controversies Padmaavat faced including change in film’s title, director Sanjay Leela Bhansali wanted his film to avoid having a face-off with PadMan at the box-office.
Good news coming in here is that Khiladi Kumar has finally pushed the release date of his film and PadMan will now hit the theatres on February 9. With the change in release date, the Akshay Kumar starrer will now clash with Sidharth Malhotra – Manoj Bajpayee starrer, Aiyaary.
With the new update on PadMan coming in,
Padmaavat starring Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone
and Shahid Kapoor will now have a solo release ahead of the Republic Day weekend.
Padmaavat is slated to release on January 25th and is expected to attract a lot of cinema lovers.
